Adult day care

The Adult Daily Living Center provides supervised, organized and meaningful activities in a secure setting to persons age 60 and older from Mifflin and Juniata Counties. ADLC provides older adults with a family-like atmosphere where they socialize with others. The center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.

The center staff is trained to care for the needs of participants with a variety of mental and physical disabilities and intellectual impairments.

Participants benefit from the center by staying mentally, physically, and socially active through group and individual activities. Most participants are able to remain in a home environment, thus postponing the need for a costly long-term care facility.

Our Rates
The cost to attend the Center is dependent upon participant and spouse income. A sliding fee schedule determines the portion of the actual cost to be assumed by the participant.

Center Hours
Participants may attend the center from 1 to 3 days per week (half or full days). The center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with consideration being given to opening earlier and closing later, and additional days if requested!
